This Guy Needs a Dummies Guide For Superintendents/ Business Leaders On Twitter,Real, First Hand Depiction of a Michael Munoz Experience!

I look at Rochester Public Schools - Independent School District #535, Superintendent Michael Munoz's Twitter feed and it is laughably bad.

This is the Twitter feed of a strong, proven leader or a business professional?

It looks like some of the very bad feeds I have seen in searches ran by teens or people with no business or leadership backgrounds.

There is no discussions or tweets on core educational issues, nothing stressing or talking about problems, just pure public relations based garbage.

I mean, it almost seems like the guy is trying to be cool or relevant with kids in the district instead of showing that strong, leadership example and supposed skill set he was brought in to put on display.
I'm pretty sure he wasn't paid and vetted to be the best friend to students and teachers, but to lead them and right now, I just don't see it.

Someone, please get this guy either a Twitter or Social Networking Guide for Dummies and maybe lets see some of the promised leadership initiatives and great dynamic changes, your promised to bring about when you signed on.
The community is still waiting. 2 years have come and gone and nothing amazing has happened as of yet?

All I see from my vantage point is a lot of "smoke and mirrors" and no substance at this point.

And from my personal dealings with Michael Munoz through a illegal and criminal letter he and Brenda Lewis sent, violating two parent's civil rights, most specifically, the rights to free expression, he is that atypical angry Hispanic leader, that imposes his hardcore overzealous Catholic views and authoritarian, anal conformist views, that school figures are 100% right on anyone who speaks out against him or offers an opposing view point.

(Search this blog, complete downloadable scans from my Dropbox account are available!)

Trust me when I say, he is not a great communicator, is not well liked as this horrible p.r. piece would leave you to believe and is not the dynamic visionary leader this joke of a biographical description makes him out to be:

Mr. Michael Muñoz started his tenure as Superintendent of Rochester Public Schools on Friday, July 1, 2011. Mr. Muñoz comes to Rochester from Des Moines, Iowa, where he most recently was the Chief Academic Officer of Des Moines Public Schools, a diverse district of 32,000 students. Board members and supervisors describe Mr. Muñoz as having extensive knowledge of all academic programs and services, as an advocate to high achievement for all, as an excellent communicator, and as a visionary leader. He engages the community, is collaborative in his work, and is highly respected by his staff as a productive and positive leader.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Academic Officer, Mr. Muñoz served as regional executive director for the Northeast Region of Des Moines Public Schools. Mr. Muñoz's other work experiences include classroom teaching at both the middle school and high school levels, elementary and secondary school counselor, and principal at the elementary and middle school levels. In his time at Des Moines Public Schools, Muñoz has focused on increasing graduation rates, college enrollment, and the number of students on track to graduate college-ready. In his 32 years in education, Mr. Muñoz has been a strong supporter and facilitator of partnerships between schools, businesses, and the community.

Born and raised in Lexington, Nebraska, Mr. Muñoz earned his bachelor's degree in secondary education from the University of Nebraska, a master's degree in Developmental Counseling and administrative degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and a specialist degree from Iowa State University.
This is the public relations section of the Rochester Schools website for those of us who have dealt with the often angry, unreasonable, Rochester Public Schools - Independent School District #535 Superintendent Michael Munoz: (Link here )

He is trigger happy, over reacts often and from what I have read and in conversations I have had with others locally, many share the opinion that he is not qualified to run a school corporation of this size, budget or student enrollment.

I have seen glaring deficiencies in how people at the Edison building have handled various tasks and the huge communications and follow through problems that exist.

I can't wait till the new Mayo Clinic facilities come on line and a deluge of new students come into the district.
They can't handle doing the small things right now with a average size enrollment for a city this size, I will sit back and watch as things unravel at the seams and they "crash and burn" under the continuous stresses of dramatic, enrollment increases.

From what I have seen, they don't have the right role players in leadership positions and when someone commits a major screw up, their is no re-direction, retraining or accountability.

They actual engage in cover-ups, well choreographed attacks on anyone who questions a mistake and they use a culture of silencing, harassment, threats, police abuses/ brutality through a police liaison, illegal letters that ban federally protected rights and other malicious, Goon or Mob family like tactics.

So, when enrollment, paper work and Edison Building office staff demands increase, they won't be ready.

I will be one of those guys gladly proclaiming, "see I told you so", as I did try to help things become a little more efficient using best practices used in successful business management, and they all were so high strung and superior in their own minds, that no one wanted to listen to some decent, fair, honest feed back.

So, I'll sit back, watch and wait.

That "crash and burn" moment, either because of failed leadership at the top or by middle management will come eventually, and a bit of me will feel avenged when these gigantic failures and problems are a very openly discussed, public ordeal in the local media...

Exactly, I will not change for your desire for conformity! (Sorry People That Can't Handle Adult, Big Kid Words!)

I love this as this is really relevant with what is going on with the horribly bad Rochester Minnesota School Corporation right now. Somehow, in the mix, I did return emails being truthful that I will not allow complete access to the as I called them "Goons" that work at the Edison Building, here in Rochester, MN.

One of the overly sensitive little kids that works on the 2nd floor at the building took offense to the factual statements I used about how the leadership dealing with us so far has acted like goons, mobsters, violated parental rights, our civil rights, done illegal and criminal activities on purpose, ect,, ect.
I simply said they cannot be trusted and so far, that statement has been proven true.

See, they have this problem at the local school corporation with these adult words and the truth being used or the fact you call them out for breaking federal laws, statutes, acts and prefer you act like one of the sheep they employ, the kids they drone conformity to or the parents or former employee's that speak up and they try to silence. (Just Google Rochester School Corporation Minnesota Whistle blower Lawsuit!)

They like to use politically correctness and try to claim that staff was berated, verbally abused or threatened and that wasn't the case, they are just once again distorting the truth and making a narrative that fills their agenda. In as many words, they are lying once again.
I did say that people have been dishonest, have denied us things we should have open access to and the efforts of some people in certain situations has been substandard or sub par.
All of these things are facts, not opinions.

The thing is, I will never conform to your attempts to control me or put me in your pc box. It will never happen. I as a very successful manager in the restaurant world always thought outside the box and was a people person. I fought people in the corporate world on a daily basis, because of the very thought I was being to much of a people person to my employee's.

I continue today to be that same out of the box person and I will not change how I do things for any person or institution.

Olmsted County decided to not follow through on my wife's insurance and turn it on in a timely manner, I let the supervisor of the entire Human Services program know that if she suffers severe harm or dies because of their negligence, I will file a pain and suffering or wrongful death lawsuit and I'll go public.
Once again, I had to be the asshole and I made shit happen.

I will not sit idly by and watch anyone screw with my kids life, my wife's or mine for that matter anymore.
If you cannot do your job right or slow something down by choice, expect an immediate and strong response from me.

So I guess what I'm trying to say in closing, push me, I'll push back.
Be decent to me, I'll be decent back.
Respect me, I'll respect you.
Continue to lie to my face and be dishonest, all bets are off and everything is fair game.

No one in this life has any right to command respect or special treatment from us or me in particular if you continue to be disrespectful, dishonest, cause trouble and not do things how they should be done.
Morals and integrity should be at the fore front, not an after thought people...

5 Child Damaging Religious Doctrines - Jim Palmer

Link here:

Separate  screen caps of website above and below:

I have had the frustration of teacher's at my sons High school Mayo, doing this with Religion and Politics.
Every time I hear more and more about teachers trying to push my child to a certain religious or politcal view point, I get a little mad and then smirk as little as my feelings and suspicions have once again been confirmed.

Teacher's and administrator's in the Rochester School Corporation here in lovely Rochester, Minnesota obviously have a hidden agenda to create Republican, Catholic "sheeple" and doing the right thing, teaching kids to think for themselves, and make their own decisions isn't happening here on any level.

As a strong, well educated independent voter and Christian, I will continue to push my kids to ask questions and question or challenge everything the local robot creating machine pushes down their throats.

MY kids will not be like many people here locally we have experienced thru various interactions.
A killer example is when we decided to purchase a Ipad Air at the Southside Walmart to put learning and brain games on the device to help with the kids education at school.

The lady who was working security came over after the Ipad had set off the crappy alarm system.
The lady came to check our stuff, no biggy and then questioned what a Ipad was?
I was like what, what rock have you been hiding under for the past ten years lady.
Then she happily gloated that she didn't have a computer at home and didn't believe in any of the tech mumbo jumbo at all.
I couldn't believe what I heard.
No care or desire to read or learn new things online, just a horrible blind happiness to stay full of ignorance.

This is how local government and  the criminally insane school corporation keep their thugs and illegal activities ongoing, they just rely on the fact that so much of the local populace is un or under educated, not staying focuses on current events and they also rely on mob like tactics when the minority in town wise up to their malfeasance.

Think Fox News on a more, smaller scale.

The good things are, with a flood of new employee's and families coming to the area because of explosive growth at the Mayo, this controlled and deliberate brain drain will not be allowed to go on much more longer.

People with money, deep financial pockets and lawyers will help things change and a progressive push will one day become a reality.
The old that is deliberately killing or slowing down growth both in the community and at the schools will be partially replaced by progressives that will often rock the vote and demand changes.

I will eagerly just sit back and watch for this change to happen.
Maybe start going to town council and school board meetings so I can enjoy the "old guard" struggle to keep Rochester a small town and in the 40's and 50's as they are both pushed out of their comfort zones and made to embrace a evolving local population.

The great thing is, if these people continue to stifle needed growth and innovations, they can just be voted out.

That is "change" I can believe in...
