Huge story coming soon! Could possibly bring the current administration to its knees!

We have a inside source who has given us detailed information about current school administrators using the Common Core evaluation process to weed put teachers they do not like or those who speak out against their criminal abuses.
We also have direct proof of the current Rochester Public Schools leadership deliberately creating a hostile work environment and engaging in bigotry and racism, going against their own rules and charter, and most state and federal laws.

This is the kind of a news splash that could make the local and national news and get pink slips handed out in mass.

I cannot wait till this group is fired and must answer for their sins in criminal and civil court.

We, the owners have already retained a lawyer to sue about civil rights violations, IEP process abuses, deliberately no allowing a required FAPE and other damages.

Just because we moved doesn't mean this is over Goons.

Oh no, you started a war against great parents who cared about their kids education and now you must pay the piper.

After this is done, and we have navigated the lengthy court process, I will thank those who put us through Hell for solidifying our kids financial futures.

This is long from being over!

The Dangerous Situation That Pushed Us To HomeSchool Our Kids and My Answer To Karla Bollesen's Nice, Please Come Back Letter!

I got a very nice, homey letter from Karla Bollesen, Director of Special Education services letting me know the district was going to end the IEP evaluation process as we decided to un-enroll the kids from the Rochester Public Schools - Independent School District #535,

Once again, it was the parents who initiated the stopping of the IEP process when Karl Bakken, #2 under Mrs. Bollesen asked very rudely if we wanted it killed.
I told him in a very deliberate and stern voice, "Shut it all down", as I didn't want any future involvement with the school district beyond the minimum required reporting requirements by state law for homeschoolers.

Attitudes foremost remain the same, and that is well most likely, our kids will never return to this local school system.

Both me and my wife are tapping into technological resources and putting our kids in a educational environment, unlike common core, that isn't stressing out the teachers or the kids.
We are making learning fun, and they are loving it.

And with our severely disabled child, the local school district did choose to openly ignore the McKinney-Vento Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

An incident where Carl Black, a Supervisor for Transportation of Rochester Schools, above Mona, a tier 2 person  (Supervisor maybe?) at the school's transportation # refused to drop of my child at the Baldwin Building downtown as I had to be at the medical appointment for my daughter to re-establish care to get a medical summary we had agreed to provide for our daughter's IEP evaluation process.

(We have dealt with a Cindy who works at transportation, also a tier 2 supervisor, and have never had any problems with getting transportation or a re-direct as how the transportation element is supposed to be applied via the Vento Act. She is professional to a tee; the Mona person, not so much!)

I had to call the Superintendent's office at the Baldwin, extremely frustrated and shaking as Mr. Black had basically threatened to take my kid to our home address. Then after 5 minutes take him back to the Phoenix Academy, were there would be no one to supervise him, and he would be left there alone.

This puts his life and safety in danger automatically.

He then threatened me over the phone stating that we, the parents would have to find our own way out to the Phoenix Academy to pick him up, knowing we currently do not have a vehicle and both of us have a bad leg that is part of our disabled status.

Luckily, the secretary called me back even though I was threatened once again that they can't do this ever again.

I did appreciate the gesture, but under the Vento Act, they had to and just chose not to.

And in larger and smaller districts like the MSD of Lawrence and Minneapolis Public Schools, such requests were no big deal as these school districts understand these unique situation happen and in my honest opinion, the districts, in regards to disabled children, "have their shit together!"

The two drivers that always pick up and drop off my son were silent as they dropped off Jamie.
They know what politics are going on behind the scene and most likely didn't want to be any part of what people were doing deliberately to cause extra stress and agitation.  They both looked down like they wanted to say sorry, but they couldn't, and I wouldn't risk their jobs anyways for the war those above them were waging against parents who care.

No consideration for the McKinney-Vento Act, no considerations for my disabled son's safety or the vocal agreement at his IEP evaluation agreement that sometimes the vans dropping him off would have to be re-directed due to other family members' medical issues and a tight window for meeting the other kids off their buses and the hotel shuttles, 9 am to 2:30 pm.

That was the day of Thursday, November the 14th. I pulled the kids out of school on the 15th, the following Friday, the next day as I had had enough, and I was tired of the mind games and school leadership using my kids as a pawns against me and my wife.

I couldn't be 2 places at one time. I have to push my disabled wife that has a wheelchair and is forced to use it during cold weather thanks to an accident years ago were she missed a step in a darkened corridor and crushed her entire ankle.  Her leg is full of screws and pins, about 250K in surgeries, therapy, medical equipment and doctor visits.

I then had to be at this appointment re-establishing care for my daughter as we both go to our kids' appointments so nothing is left out, and so I got the medical summary for the IEP evaluation.

Did Mr. Black expect my 9 year old daughter to push my wife's wheelchair around hilly downtown Rochester by herself perhaps?  Can he give me a physics-based answer how one can be two places at one time?

This is the unfair harassment we dealt with constantly.

They are so tight-assed and rigid about conformity that a simple request to re-direct a van, saving the school and transportation van company money couldn't happen, even though it was a shorter distance and school leadership said "re-directing a van should be no problem" at previous meetings.

Driving a pinch under a mile and a half 14-16 blocks versus 38 blocks, a little over 3 miles.

I appreciate the kind gesture, but unless I get something in writing that the harassment-based crap will stop, and people will start following the various laws and acts in place, it will be a cold day in Hell before we ever go back to that nightmare.

I cannot as a parent who loves my children and who cares about their well being, purposely out them in the care of someone who doesn't care about their safety as much as or more than me.

So in closing, thank you, Mrs. Bollesen for the very professional, yet once again, a letter that lacked facts, and I respectively decline your invitation to come back to the Rochester School Corporation.

Our kids love the engaging, encouraging, and loose learning environment that you cannot come even close to offering them.  "Common Core" and "No Child Left Behind" (All Children Left Behind) guarantees you'll never be able to, unfortunately.

Thanks, good day, and I have said all that is needed to be said on this subject...

Amazing search engine positoning when searching for the local school district in Google!

A lot of work has produced dynamic results and the message is getting out to the public and world about what is really going on here in the local Rochester Public Schools - Independent School District #535.

Blog hits so far,, keep in mind that I have only been extremely active in this blog for about a week, ever since they ratcheted up the harassing, immoral, threatening, law breaking behaviors:

Search Rochester Mn School Corporation and we are the second link down below a paid, Google ad-words link:

Search Rochester Public Schools - Independent School District #535 in Google and you'll see by this screen grab of a search I did, we are once again right at the top, 6 entries down:

This was my whole point. They took a calculated risk and gamble going by the usual playbook they dial into to silence and harass parent's here who object to their wrong doings.

As my blog and simple efforts using keyword optimization have worked so well, anyone researching this area, thinking about moving here or possibly fielding complaints at the state or federal department's of education will have this rock solid evidence and examples to see how bad the education element is in this city.

And, as long as I have my say, this blog will always stay up to remind them of their failings and that they must try harder.

Father Arrested For "Legally" Attempting To Pick Up His Kids From School!!

This is the very same type of outright abuse we experienced at the local school corporation. Their police state, conformist, tool of choice was a local police liaison who was openly violating the laws and constitution she swore to protect.

They believe  some type of faulty "belief system", that the actions school officials take while on school property or on their job capacities exempt them from the very laws that govern the rest of society. Working in a educational administration building does not make you "Gods" amongst men or give you any special privileges in society.

Just like us, the father in this case had done nothing wrong and was simply doing what his "parental rights" and rights as any free American allow him to do, love about this country freely.
This isn't Russia, Iran or Iraq. where you have to show paper's to move between check points but that nightmarish 1984 style world is coming ever close, daily. (link)

“I’m not raising my voice, I’m not confrontational, I want my kids,” Howe states in the video.

“You don’t need a reason as a parent to go get your children. They are our children.”

This man's only crime, not listening to a school board's rule/ decision that the only way parent's can come in person to pick up there children after 2 pm is for those in the car line to wait in a car line that stretches out into the highway running besides the highway which is dangerous and often blocks traffic.

And, you have to wait till 2:35 pm to get your children and wait in a line that sometimes lasts 1-2 hours long.

And of course as most officer's of the law do, the Sheriff stands behind his man and refuses to look at the obviously criminal, civil rights violation caught on the cell phone recorded video:

As the video shows, Howe was arrested by Aytes for disorderly conduct. Deputy Aytes tells 6 News he’s unable to comment because this is an open case.
Cumberland County Sheriff Butch Burgess, whom Howe calls to complain in the video, says he hasn’t seen the video and doesn’t need to, because it won’t tell the whole story. He says Aytes was just doing his job, According to 6 News.

But, the ever personable Sheriff Burgess, does admit, maybe the citizen who did nothing wrong has a point:

The sheriff says he agrees with Howe that the new policy is creating safety concerns along the highway outside the school. “On the other hand, the school system needs to realize you can’t make a black and white law,” Burgess said.
This is the horrible criminal and communist like attitudes present in our school's today.
Most likely this guy will get a lawyer, get the charges dropped and sue for obvious "civil rights" violations and false arrest.

They actively follow this national example and actively engaged in similar civil rights violations here at local Rochester Public School Corporation - Independent School Corporation #535 and if I had to be a betting man, I bet they are doing the same to other parents who often question their immoral or unethical behaviors.

I commend this man for taking a brave, righteous stand and I implore other parents across the nation to stand up to tyranny and oppression in schools and do the same.

Debunking the Homeschooling children can't go to college myth and lack of respect towards the people who keep the lights on!

I kept hearing this theme, over and over from the lady who runs the homeschooling program in the Rochester Public School Corporation - Independent School District #535 when we signed the kids out of their school's.

The thing is, I had already done extensive research on the subject and  I have detailed knowledge of the fact that homeschool kids can go to college, often do and many times are as is or more successful than their public school counterparts.

This was from an email I received inviting us to an event were a meeting and training event was going to take place on this very subject.

Lynn Norby, to help us during our discussion on this topic.

Lynn is a veteran home school Mom, who started the MCGT Homeschool Chapter and STAR Academy. She has 4 grown children whom she homeschooled (some part-time and some full-time).
Her children have each gone on to very successful college careers (including Notre Dame, the U of MN, and SJU). Lynn has very helpful information and examples for putting together a homeschool transcript necessary for college admissions.
The lady quite literally must have repeated it 25 times and before finally giving me the paper I needed to sign and turn into the school corporation making our declaration to the superintendent within 15 days.
I hate people, who when they speak to you, act like the words coming out of their mouths are the "words of God" and you must down down and start kissing the very feet they walk on.

I, even in my research, have found many websites similar to education-portal.com (link),
which offer online courses anyone can and test out on with accredited exams, accepted by thousands of colleges nation wide.

I expected this treatment, as the majority of the people we have encountered at the administration building so far have been very high strung and really have serious "God" complexes that need to be addressed.
If you do not give them the respect they demand regardless of whether or not they deserve it, you run into serious problems as we did, as they get off on control and conformity, and bucking this trend does not fit their narrow minded, robot like view of life.

I know how bad public school's are in America.
The local educator's know the lasting destructive effects' of "No Child Left Behind" and now, "Common Core" that is being implanted right now.
Even teacher's I know personally, who communicate with me on Facebook regularly, weren't surprised when they read the blog/ Facebook posts and were told about the shitty, unethical, harassing things local school administrator's kept doing to us.
They, as teacher's have experienced a lot of the same unethical, unprofessional, ill willed driven, malicious behaviors from those directly above them.

"In life, your either part of the answer, or part of the problem", many in school administration create the problems and hinder, easy, almost common sense solutions to many of the common problems great teachers face who actually care.

Treatment like what we experienced is not unique.
Very bad school leadership is following the same template all across the country, and this, like with daily egregious American civil right's violations seen in the press, people are educating themselves and saying in mass, "we are not going to take this shit anymore".

Educator's need to remember this key fact.

You use local property tax dollars, federal/ state treasury funds allotted to you through various funding scheme's, so I, as a federal. state and local tax payer, American citizen and active voter are one of your many bosses you work for...

Kids new and exciting homeschooling education started today! Kids are learning and enjoying it!

Our kids new and proper educational journey started today.
Technically, we use situations and things happening in their lives to teach them life lessons and practices of good citizenship, so this is just an extension of what we were already doing.

Writing and reading exercise's are going well. Both kids are using their own Khan Academy accounts we created and we are pooling from resources from the MHA, Echo-MN and Cickschooling daily emails we both receive. Math and fan fiction writing exercises went on great and were well received. Both kids have a blog and are being encouraged to write every day about things that excite them.
The Khan Academy (link here) is such a great dynamic website and resource, I personally do not know why public schools don't tap into the resource often to enhance the curriculum offered to student's.

My wife, the better half is a grammar Nazi, a very good, talented writer and enjoys art, reading, world history, political science,  usage of proper English and proper grammar.
She excels at foreign languages including German, Japanese and some Spanish. Linguistics just comes easy to her.
She was also a National Choir Award winner and has an amazing voice and singing ability.

I, dad, enjoy and excel at math, science, world and American history, social studies and art/ music.
I won national writing and school spirit/ achievement awards in school, lettered in band multiple times, and was the person fortunate enough to have the privilege of certain "life lessons" from a very active involvement in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts most of my later school years.

People often pre-judge us, and assume we are stupid, uneducated, moron's when that is exactly the opposite of reality in our lives. People use our "middle class" range income and lack of a desire to be oppressed by their conformity based lives and agenda's to come to the faulty assumptions.
I, like my wife, have strong desires for advanced degree's in certain subject's we are passionate and knowledgeable about, but we put our kids needs in front of ours by choice.
Having a child with two rare chromosome disorders and autism, means him and his care is often a full time job by itself.
He continues to grow and get better, our desires don't get scrapped, they just get put on hold till a more proper time and situation allows for them.
What great, caring and loving parent or parents doesn't put their kids first in the pecking order of life?

My first-aid training helped me save my younger brother's life 4 times and other family/ acquaintance's multiple times as I don't freak out under pressure and have the God given gift to think and act quickly on my feet.
Both a miracle and blessing when a restaurant manager or in a "life or death" situation's unraveling right before your eyes.

I and my wife, use those learned skills and life lessons to help our kids become better people on a daily basis.

We both have extensive technological backgrounds and a strong desire to integrate new tech into our kids education.
Why not use the things kids are somewhat addicted to and love as educational platforms?
Videos games, YouTube, blogs, I pads, Android tablets, ect., its' all within the realm of possibilities if educator's actually try to think outside of the box in making education exciting and actively participate in engaging students.

Plus we both enjoy active involvement and engage in discussions related to American and World politics, social-economic issues and political sciences and economics in general.

We seek out non MSM resources for news and situations and try to look at things going on in the world from a independent voter view point. We both like to debate the good and bad of certain political events and it often leads to exciting and interesting conversations.

I am more than confident, "We got this" and will continue to fill our kids minds full of facts, figures and information to help them become active, fully engaged, citizens of tomorrow!
